the mind where i roam
through the barren fields far from the shoreline
    spider lines substitute my eyes
ballistic heart of iron pounds the earth alight
and as the bullets gaze in front of your face
unaware of what is in your mind
raid another soldier in their disgrace
but his fate ponders to the far shoreline

the waves where i roam
through your withered gardens near the shoreline
    i'm the cone of light
condemned to spy you from above the lightspine
as i caressed your face you shivered in that beam
    condoling sparkles weep their lullabies
afraid of touching, war and broken self-esteem
i whispered hope to you my dear shoreline
